Replacing an older plunge or chiller? We can remove it responsibly.
Chillers are sealed refrigeration equipment and should not go in ordinary waste. We collect unwanted chillers and plunges, coordinate certified refrigerant recovery and recycling, and provide a completion photo.
$250–$400 per unit, depending on access and equipment.

Straight answers from experienced technicians.
How often should a cold plunge receive professional service?
Test the water each week, clean the filter every two to four weeks, and inspect the chiller monthly. Essential provides one monthly visit; Premium adds a second visit and quarterly deep cleaning. Commercial equipment is generally serviced weekly.
What are the common causes of cloudy cold-plunge water?
Cloud water typically indicates one of three conditions: pH outside the 7.2–7.6 range or insufficient sanitizer, a blocked or undersized filter, or biofilm on surfaces and in plumbing. Cold-water chemistry differs from warm-water systems; chlorine is less efficient below 60°F, which makes under-sanitizing common. We determine the cause on the first visit and can often restore clarity without draining the tub.
Why might the chiller fail to reach its target temperature?
Typical causes include fouled condenser coils, inadequate clearance around the unit, low refrigerant from a slow leak, or a compressor beginning to fail. A difference greater than 3°F between the set point and the actual water temperature warrants service. The $170 call includes a complete diagnostic, and we provide the repair price before work begins.
Which cold-plunge brands do you service?
Our technicians service Plunge, Ice Barrel, Renu Therapy, Cold Stoic, Edge Theory Labs, Morozko Forge, Polar Monkeys, BlueCube, Nordic Wave, Sun Home Saunas, Kodiak, and other residential or commercial chiller systems. Equipment varies by brand, but the service fundamentals remain consistent.
What should you expect during a service visit?
We measure pH, free chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and temperature; correct the water as needed; inspect and clean the filter; evaluate the chiller, compressor, pump, and circulation; clean the surfaces; and address biofilm risk. A detailed report follows every visit.
Do I have to sign a service contract?
No. Maintenance plans renew every four weeks and may be canceled without a fee or long-term commitment. Our goal is to earn your next visit through dependable work.
